Funding Schemes

At MITC we assist students and companies alike with any information required regarding funding of their course/training.

Funding Schemes for Companies

Investing in Skills

The Investing in Skills (IIS) Scheme is a funding scheme which promotes the training of persons actively participating in the Maltese Labour Market, with the aim to increase productivity and enhance adaptability. This Scheme covers a significant percentage of training costs which an employer would have invested in training employees.

All Employers having an economic activity are eligible to apply for this scheme. These include partnerships, companies, family businesses, associations, individual self-employed or other body of persons, NGOs and Social Partners (whether these carry out an economic activity or otherwise).
