In this session the efficacy of victim protection is explored. It includes an analysis of the legal frameworks, delving into real-life cases to evaluate the functionality of victim protection. The practical application of these regulations and how they can ensure that traffic accident victims benefit from them is analysed.

Assessment Questions and Answers

In line with MFSA requirements, a short multiple-choice assessment will be provided by the trainer towards the end of the session. A Certificate of Attendance will be awarded to all students who attend the CPD (duration will be included on certificate). A Certificate of Achievement will be awarded to those who sit for the assessment and are successful (pass mark 60%).

Trainers

Francis Valletta, ACII, Chartered Insurer

Francis is a Chartered Insurer with over 35 years of experience in Motor Insurance. He currently serves as the General Manager of the Motor Insurance Division at a leading motor insurer in Malta, where he oversees all aspects of the division’s operations. In addition, he is a Visiting Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Insurance and Risk Management at the University of Malta’s Faculty of Economics, Management & Accountancy, where he shares his expertise with the next generation of insurance professionals. Francis is an active member of several industry associations and committees, including the council of the Malta Green Card Bureau and the Motor Insurers Bureau, which he currently chairs. He also serves as a member of the Motor Sector Committee of the Malta Insurance Association and represents the committee in the Motor Insurance Working Group of Insurance Europe.
