PRINCIPLES OF PROPERTY INSURANCE (745)   Advance Applied Insurance Studies (AAIS) Diploma   Evening Tuition 30 CII Credits   January – June 2010 Objective Develop an understanding of the Principles and Practices relating to Commercial Property, Business Interruption, Construction and Engineering  Insurance.   Intended Participants It is ideal for insurance practitioners and all students requiring credits towards the ACII qualification. Entry Requirements Ø  3 A’ level passes (or equivalent)  OR Ø  2 A’ level passes and 2 O’ level passes (or equivalent) at grade C or higher OR Ø  Attainment of the age of 25 (or over) at registration OR Ø  In possession of the AIS Diploma passed by examination (or equivalent)  OR Ø  Any other qualification satisfying the MITC examination board.   Accreditation Participation in the course entitles the successful candidate to claim 30 CII credits. Duration 1.5 hours per lecture. A total of 21 contact hours (incl. a revision session) A further 120 hours of self study is required.
